I always get the minced pork gui lin style (#1 on the menu). It’s been my favourite for years and years. The restaurant is super nostalgic to me. A cute little tucked away restaurant. Service is great:). I don’t have anything bad to say about it.

Warning: the decor at this place needs a facelift, but the food is definitely worth it!!! We came on a Sunday evening and it wasn't too busy. Service is fast and helpful. We ordered the minced pork Guilin stir fried noodles and the beef brisket Guilin soup noodles. We can only have Guilin noodles here because it's hands down the best in Toronto. The tomato and the perserved veggies compliment each other perfectly. We also ordered a side of deep fried chicken wings, it's fried to perfection. Some other crowd pleasers here, if you're adventurous enough - deep fried chicken knuckles, deep fried duck beak, deep fried pork intestines. The HK style milk tea is very good as well. In the winter, try the lamb hot pot. If you want good, fast, and cheap eats and don't mind the dated decor, definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Affordable and good Chinese food. Famous for their crispy pork hock and Gui Lin noodles. Good wok authenticity (鑊氣), you can hear it from the kitchen. Sweet and sour pork was fresh, crispy and hot. Noodles were hearty and generous. Even came with daily soup. I also really liked their chili oil, one of the hotter ones in town.

What truly elevated the dish was the hint of spice that lingered in every spoonful, leaving a memorable impression. Another standout feature is their in-house chili oil, which tastes remarkably similar to XO sauce. It added the perfect kick to each dish, enhancing the overall dining experience. I also tried the Fried Pork Intestine, and it was a delightful surprise. The texture was crispy, and the flavors were well-balanced, making it a satisfying choice for those seeking something a bit more adventurous. A friend took me there today and the food wasn’t half bad. I got the minced pork noodle soup or something (Guilin Style). I’ve rarely tried Gui Lin style rice noodles before so I’m not the best judge for the authenticity, but the noodles were good at least to me.

A restaurant that’s way under-rated. I ordered the 牛腩桂林米粉 and 椒盐猪手 and they were both fantastic! The beef brisket was so tender and flavourful, the pickled veg was one of the best, and the soup was appropriately soured and appetizing! It’s more like a 广西桂林米粉 in Hongkong style but fused in a good way. If the one I had in Guangzhou was authentic, I prefer this to the Guangzhou one. 肉末老友粉, however, is a bit too sour to me, and the ground meat is a bit commonplace.
